Messiah's Endowment Fund
treeinhands.jpgTo ensure the work of Messiah Lutheran Church will continue for generations to come, the Endowment Fund was created to receive and accept donations, gifts and bequests to specific Endowment Fund accounts for use in support of the mission and ministry of Messiah, over and above the General Fund.

Gifts in any amount will be accepted.  Gifts can take many forms: checks, property, stocks and bonds, life insurance policies, gift annuities or charitable remainder trusts.  For a gift or pledge of $25,000 or more, a special named account can be established with the listed Standing Endowment Accounts.

Standing Endowment Accounts:

The Mission Outreach - Evangelism Fund Account to provide funding for short term mission trips and other mission work

The Lutheran School Ministry Fund Account to provide funding for Messiah's Preschool

The Discipleship - Equipping Ministry Fund to provide scholarships for Circuit 15 members preparing for full-time church work

The Music Ministry Scholarship Fund Account to provide scholarships for members of Messiah taking music lessons, and sharing their talents in Messiah's worship services

The Capital Improvement Ministry Fund Account to provide funding for capital expansion and improvements to Messiah's physical plant

The Human Care Ministry Fund Account to provide funding for Messiah's Agape Fund and Community Ministry Fund

Mission opportunities outside of Messiah can also receive financial support from Messiah's Endowment Fund.

Circuit 15 churches, Southeastern District missions, LCMS missions, LCMS colleges and seminaries, LCMS recognized service organizations.

All donations are invested with the Lutheran Church - Extension Fund, the LCMS Foundation, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, so that on-going income from these investments can provide scholarships and other grants for these exciting ministries.
