A missionary is God's chosen servant, in whom the Holy Spirit dwells
and through whom God is glorified. He is a person in whom God has
placed the interests of the world. Where he serves is God's business.
However, the KEY to his life and service is PRAYER. Thus Paul says in
Colossians 4:2-4, "Devote yourselves to prayer . . that God may open a
door . . that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ." We, the Church,
share in the missionary enterprise through prayer. a Church praying for
its missionaries is a visionary, prosperous Church advancing the
Kingdom.

Some of Messiah’s missionaries operate under a system known
as ‘faith support’, others are paid a monthly salary by the denomination under
which they work, and some serve as volunteers. Messiah gives regular financial
support to our faith support missionaries. We also encourage individual members
to become financial partners with our missionaries to enable them to do the
work to which God has called them.
What is faith
support?
