LOCATION

Messiah Lutheran Church is conveniently located at 8300 Providence Rd. just south of the Arboretum and Hwy 51 (Pineville-Matthews Rd).  Map

Parking is located on both the north and south sides of the sanctuary. Handicapped parking has been designated at the south entrance, although both entries are wheelchair accessible.

Our outreach mission in Weddington, OPEN DOOR FELLOWSHIP, meets each Sunday at 10:00am at Rea View Elementary School.

Whether you're searching for a church family or just plain searching for something that has been missing in your life, you're invited to share God's love and hear His voice in an informal setting at Rea View Elementary School.

  One thing we learned as we began to launch our capital campaign was . . .

that there have been a lot of moving parts over the past 18 months and a lot of people were not involved in all the phases that led up to our current plans. So, we feel a need to spend some time not only communicating where we have been, where we are, and where we plan to go but also to get feedback from the congregation on how to approach the next 8 to 10 months. The leadership is hosting two informational "Town Hall" meetings. The first is scheduled for Thursday, April 3rd, at 7:00pm. The second is planned for Sunday, April 6th, at 6:00pm. Both sessions will be in the Fellowship Hall. Please come to one of these two sessions. It is very important we get everyone to understand not just what we are doing, but most importantly, why we are doing it!

 

God will take care of the super, we need to take care of the natural
