What Is My Role? To achieve our Stepping Out In Faith goals, we will need the involvement of the entire Messiah family. No effort will be too small and we realize everyone will have a unique role, defined by their individual time, talent and treasure. As you determine your level of involvement, consider the following involvement opportunities:
Pray without Ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Like every spiritual endeavor, pray forms the foundation and determines the success. Seeking God’s will is the foundation for Stepping Out In Faith. Pray for our church, its members and its ministries. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to take decisive steps in your own journey of faith. Get involved (James 2: 17, 18) Seeking Christian fellowship and personal Bible study is central to deepening our relationship with Christ which leads to faith based action. Share your faith (Matthew 17: 20) This involves sharing Christ with a not yet saved person and sharing with other Christ followers what God is doing in your life as you Step Out In Faith. Determine to give (Malaciah 3: 10) Turn your prayers and faith into action. Make a prayerful decision that honors God and his will. Faithfully and joyfully commit your sacrificial gift to God. |
